Crossover tube heat shield sock
- Reduces under hood temperature
- Custom woven for use on tube
- Heat retained pre-turbo reduces spool time
Includes:
1x 54" woven heat shield sock
2x #36 hose clamps
Crossover tube is NOT included!
Fits: 7.3l IDI 1993-1994 Ford diesel engines with OEM Turbo (pre powerstroke).
Fitment Notes:
-Will not fit some tubes that use a very tight slip flange. We have verified fitment using our crossover tube.
Install Tip: This option only works if the slip flange to tube fitment has some slack. Pull flange down out of the way, start the sleeve onto the tube and tape the end of the sleeve to the tube. Now slide the flange over the sleeve, remove the tape and work the sleeve onto the tube. Position sleeve and fold ends in. Pull sleeve tight and clamp each end.
